From time to time, we're asked what the letter designations in our model numbers mean. Here's a useful key that gives some explanation:
"M" = Micro portable 4.5 - 6.6 lbs.
"C" = Compact 6.7 - 10 lbs.
"P" = Portable 10.1 - 22 lbs.
"V" = Venue / Conference >22 lbs.
"XG" = Limited Distribution product
"PG" = Open Distribution product

In July 2002, Gregg Barbiero was promoted to our System Application Engineer (SAE) for the Eastern Region. Gregg has worked for Sharp for more than 10 years and has served in various engineering and technical capacities. Gregg joins Dennis Brown who has been our Western Region SAE over the last year. Dennis has brought a wealth of system design expertise to our team. For 17 years, Dennis worked for Ampex in a variety of Engineering and Project Management positions. He was also a senior Engineering Manager for the broadcast video production systems used on-site at the 1994, 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games. Dennis also worked for two years as a System Consultant with National Teleconsultants.
In their new roles as System Application Engineers, Dennis and Gregg will be responsible for channeling information from and to our network of Consultants and System Designers. They will provide product and application expertise, as well as on-site support and technical training to the sales, integration and project management staff our dealers, consultants and resellers.
